Bereavement Ministry Facilitator Training | Fall 2026

Those who desire to minister to others suffering from loss and grief are invited to enroll in Bereavement Ministry Facilitator Training, hosted by the Archdiocese of Newark’s Office of Family Life Ministry. Training will take place virtually from October to November on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

This training is open to parish leaders or volunteers who want to become facilitators for existing parish bereavement support groups or start a bereavement support ministry at their parish. Sessions focus on grief support in the context of current cultural and societal challenges.
