Church Custodian/Maintenance (Part-Time) – Saint Rocco/Saint Brigid Parish, Union City

SALSALARY: $18-$20 per hour (up to 25 hours per week)

General Description

The church custodian/maintenance person oversees and supervises all aspects of maintenance in a safe and effective manner for the parish buildings and grounds.

Qualifications/Skills

• Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities (SKAs)
• Must have necessary mechanical skills
• Must have good interpersonal communication skills
• Must have ability to organize and prioritize time
• Must have ability to supervise others
• Must have ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment and techniques
• Respectful and considerate towards the religious setting

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Bilingual a plus
• Three or more years’ supervisory experience in related field
• Previous maintenance experience
