ADMINISTRATORS
Most Reverend Gregory J. Studerus has been appointed Temporary Administrator of Our Lady of Good Counsel and Immaculate Conception, Newark, effective March 21, 2026.

ARCHDIOCESAN
Reverend Manuel Dueñas has been appointed Judge for a five (5) year term in the Metropolitan Tribunal
of the Archdiocese of Newark, effective April 1, 2026.

Reverend Monsignor Robert E. Emery, JCL has been appointed Judge for a five (5) year term in the
Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Newark, effective April 1, 2026.

Reverend Giandomenico M. Flora has been appointed external confessor/spiritual director of
Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary, Kearny, effective April 10, 2026.

Reverend Edmond P. Ilg has been appointed external confessor/spiritual director of Redemptoris Mater
Missionary Seminary, Kearny, effective April 10, 2026.

Reverend Giovanni Rizzo, JCL has been appointed Judge for a five (5) year term in the Metropolitan
Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Newark, effective April 1, 2026.

Reverend John P. Ginty has been appointed as an Ecclesiastical Notary for a five (5) year term for the
Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Newark, effective March 23, 2026

CHAPLAINS
Very Reverend Joseph A. D’Amico, V.F. has been appointed Chaplain of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s
Office, Hackensack, effective April 1, 2026.

ARCHDIOCESAN
Reverend Mariano Dellagiovanna has been granted a three (3) year extension to his release to the
Diocese of Philadelphia, ending June 30, 2029.

Reverend Carlos F. Flor has been granted a six (6) year extension to his release to the Diocese of Boston,
ending June 1, 2031.
