Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., announced the following appointments for February:

ADMINISTRATOR

Father Azizi Manuel Tempesta, C.Ss.R. has been appointed administrator of Saint James Parish,

Newark, effective Feb. 2, 2024, and ending Feb. 1, 2025.

Father Francis P. Azah has been appointed chaplain to the Archdiocesan Respect Life Office

with residence at Saint Mary of the Assumption, Elizabeth, effective Feb. 1, 2024.

Father Paul Houlis has been appointed chaplain to the Archdiocesan Respect Life Office,

effective Feb. 1, 2024.

Father Richard A. Pfannenstiel has been granted retirement, effective June 30, 2024.

Father James R. White has been granted retirement, effective June 30, 2024.
