Clergy appointments | January 2022

Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., announced the following appointments: 

Pastor

Reverend Nigel R. Mohammed has been granted a second term as pastor at Saint Anne Parish, Jersey City, from July 1, 2018, to July 1, 2024.

Reverend Jesús Marcelino Rodríguez, C.S.J. has been appointed pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Orange, effective December 10, 2021, to December 10, 2027.

Temporary Administrator

Very Reverend Jose Erlito Ebron has been appointed temporary administrator of Saint Joseph Parish, West Orange, effective January 1, 2022, while remaining pastor of Saint Raphael Parish, Livingston.

Parochial Vicar

Reverend Bernard-Marie Guerin-Boutaud, C.S.J. has been appointed parochial vicar of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Orange, effective December 10, 2021.

Reverend Grzegorz Dziedzic has been appointed parochial vicar of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish, Linden,  effective December 6, 2021, until December 6, 2024.

Released

Reverend Carlos F. Flor has had his release to the Archdiocese of Boston extended for an additional six years, effective June 1, 2019, to June 1, 2025.

Reverend James E. Starasinich has had his release to the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota extended for an additional three years, effective July 1, 2021, until July 1, 2024.

Reverend Fernando Carranza has had his release to the Diocese of Dallas, Redemptorist Mater Missionary Seminary, extended for an additional three years, effective December 1, 2021 until December 1, 2024.

Reverend Luis P. González has had his release to the Diocese of Cádiz and Ceuta, Spain, extended for an additional three years, ending on July 31, 2024.

Other

Reverend Jakov Vidov has received permission to assist two days per week at the Diocesan Redemptorist Mater Missionary Seminary in Stanford, Connecticut, (Diocese of Bridgeport) effective immediately.
