Clergy appointments | March 2025

Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., made the following appointments for March 2025:

ARCHDIOCESAN POSITIONS
Reverend Monsignor Christopher Hynes has been appointed Clergy Liaison of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre in New Jersey, effective March 11, 2025.

Reverend Francis P. Azah has been excardinated from the Diocese of Ho, Ghana, Africa and incardinated into the presbyterate of the Archdiocese of Newark, effective February 14, 2025.

RELEASE
Reverend James V. Teti has been granted an extension to his release to the Diocese of Ogdensburg, New York for an additional three (3) years, effective May 16, 2025, and ending June 30, 2028.

Reverend Arokiadoss Raji has been granted an extension to his release to the Diocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota for an additional three (3) years, effective March 7, 2025, and ending February 29, 2028.

RESIDENCE
Reverend Sebastian Valencia Obando has been assigned residency at Saint Aedan, Jersey City, effective February 15, 2025.

RETIREMENT
Reverend Edwardo T. Veluz has been granted retirement, effective March 31, 2025.
