Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin, C.Ss.R., announced the following appointments: 

Pastors

Reverend Bryan F.J. Adamcik has been appointed Pastor of Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Leonia, effective immediately and ending on July 1, 2027.

Reverend Marty B. Jacinto has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, Jersey City, ending July 1, 2027.

Reverend Edgardo P. Jocson has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Linden, ending February 1, 2025.

Reverend Zephyrin K. Katompa has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Saint Peter Claver Parish, Montclair, ending July 1, 2027.

Reverend Edward George Klybus has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Nativity Parish, Midland Park, ending July 1, 2028.

Reverend Joseph Kwiatkowski has been granted second term to his pastorate at Saint Rose of Lima Parish, Newark, ending July 1, 2027.

Reverend Cayetano Moncada-Laguado has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Saint Francis Xavier Parish, Newark, ending July 1, 2027.

Reverend Jean Max Osias has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Holy Spirit/Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, East Orange, ending July 1, 2027.

Reverend Elky Reyes Pichardo has been granted a second term to his pastorate at Saint Benedict Parish, Newark and Saint Aloysius Parish, Newark, ending July 1, 2028.

Chaplain

Reverend Andrew Ikedichi Njoku has been appointed Chaplain at Mountainside Hospital, Montclair, effective immediately.

Released

Reverend Jose E. Marquez has had his release to the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, Montana, extended for a period of three years, ending July 1, 2023.

Retirement

Reverend Robert T. Ulak has been granted retirement effective July 1, 2021.

Deacon Guillermo Valladares has been granted retirement effective immediately.
