Cotillion Semi Formal and Awards Dinner

The Cotillion is our Archdiocesan Semi-Formal dinner dance held to honor teenagers in Youth Ministry Programs throughout the Archdiocese of Newark.

Parish Youth Ministry Programs can honor TWO teenagers that are involved in their program for their outstanding contributions they have made in bringing Christ to their youth ministry, parish and community.

Traditionally the award winners are Juniors or Seniors. At the Cotillion teenagers and Youth Ministry Programs gather from all over our Archdiocese to dance, eat, praise our Lord and to honor teens from their parishes.

The date of the 2024 Cotillion is Friday January 19th and will be held at the St. John Paul II Youth Retreat Center in the Centers Gymnasium from 7 to 11pm.

You can get the basic flyer, and Code of Behavior Form below, as well as register your group to attend.

Please note that all reservations are due NO LATER than Monday February 6th by 12noon.

Cotillion Honoree(s) Information

Parishes can honor up to TWO teens at the Cotillion. Teens should be active members of your program or parish. Typcially they are AT LEAST a Sophomore. Typically most parishes honor young people that are Juniors or Seniors in High School. The SHOULD NOT have won the “Outstanding Teen” award in previous years of the Cotillion. Parishes DO NOT need to award two teens an award. You may choose to only honor one if you wish.
