General Description

The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light, Cherry Hill, NJ, seeks to fill the role of Pastoral Associate for Worship and Music. The Pastoral Associate serves as Director of the parish Music Ministries, oversees all other Liturgical Ministries with the support of a part-time Assistant and volunteer Ministry Leaders, and directs music for and assists with the preparation of Resurrection Catholic School liturgies.

Qualifications/Skills

• Demonstrate piano, organ, and vocal proficiency
• An active Catholic with a heart for Missionary Discipleship who is knowledgeable in Catholic Liturgy and Music
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortability with various styles and genres of music
• Aptitude with technology including sound systems
• Awareness of copyright and licensing procedures

Education and/or Experience

• Three or more years of experience in Catholic Liturgy and Music, and a BA in Music or equivalent are beneficial
