Archdiocese to Participate in Memorial Day “Serving God and Country Salute to Heroes”

Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark will once again join with approximately 1,000 other Catholic cemeteries nationwide to celebrate “Serving God and Country: A Memorial Day Salute to our Heroes” on Monday, May 25, 2015 with a special public Mass at each of the seven Archdiocesan cemeteries located in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union Counties.

All Masses begin at 11 a.m. In addition to the Main Celebrant listed below, guest clergy from the surrounding local parishes will concelebrate. Mass will be held rain or shine – canopies and seating will be provided.
