Lector Formation / Entrenamiento de Lectores

The Worship Office is sponsoring a workshop (in English or Spanish) to train* or renew those who serve in the ministry of lector. Topics include:

• Importance of Scripture (Msgr. Anthony Zaccardi / Rev. Juan Rojas)
• Public Speaking (John Miller / Olfary Gutiérrez
• Role of the Lector in Liturgy (Rev. Thomas Dente / Jose Planas)

Books will be available for purchase. (Checks and cash only; No credit cards)

This is an adult (18+) learning day; there are no accommodations for children.
Please do not bring children.
No food will be provided.

Fee: $25 per person; $350.00 (14 or more)

*Serving in the ministry of lector for a parish or institution is at the discretion of the pastor/chaplain. The pastor/chaplain should be aware of attendance at this workshop.
